Magnetik at Ring Ring festival

New work for cymbalom and coils made together with Nora Mulder and Clare Gallager will be premiered at the Ring Ring Festival, 27 May 2013 at Museum of Science and Technology Belgrade, Serbia.

Shadow study #7 coming on DVD

Percussionist Diego Espinosa and audio engineer Jose Luis Aguirre won the Nikki Yanofsky Audio Technica Prize to record a DVD of percussion solo and electronic pieces at CIRMMT. Shadow study #7 will be recorded together with works by Juan Sebastián Lach Lau, Juan Felipe Waller, Hugo Morales Murguia and David Adamcyk.

Beetween Object and Shadow

Kiseonik - performances in Belgrade

Composition Kiseonik commissioned by Gaudeamus Music Week and performed by ECO ensemble in Utrecht, will receive new performances in Belgrade. Kiseonik is this time arranged for contemporary music collective "Studio 6". John Cage Centenary

An interactive performance throughout the rooms and hallways of Radio Belgrade, featuring music of John Cage and Alvin Lucier. Performing "But what about the noise of crumpling paper which he used to do in order to paint the series of "papiers froisses" or tearing up paper to make "papiers dechires?" Arp was stimulated by water (sea, lake, and flowing waters like rivers) , forests" and "Radio Music" together with members of contemporary music collective Studio 6. The Surround! Festival in Bruges attempts to restore the third dimension in music. LAST SONG awarded a recommendation at the Unesco Rostrum of Composers 2011

Last Song for percussion quartet awarded a recommendation at the Unesco Rostrum of Composers 2011. The 2011 Rostrum gathered representatives from 29 national radio networks from four continents, which presented 60 works composed within the five years preceding the Rostrum. After the listening sessions, the assembly of delegates selected and recommended the most distinctive works. These and other works will be presented in concerts and broadcast after the Rostrum by the participating and other interested radio stations.

Last Song for percussion quartet is nominated for the Dutch Toonzetters 2011 prize. Toonzetters takes place on the 22 June 2011 Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ, Holland Festival.
